The Transparency Act
The Transparency Act aims to promote companies' respect for human rights and decent working conditions, as well as ensuring public access to information. Here you can read how Fredensborg Hospitality and our businesses relate to, work with and comply with the Transparency Act.
Responsible landlord
Respect for human and workers' rights is fundamental to our business and is decisive in our choice of suppliers and partners. The introduction of the Transparency Act provides guidelines for our already ongoing work, and reassures our customers that our deliveries comply with both legal requirements and our ethical standards.
Due diligence and risk assessments related to human and labor rights violations
Due diligence is a process by which the business identifies and assesses the risk of human rights and decent work violations, and promotes mitigating actions. Our supply chain and business partner mapping is based on the OECD due diligence model and is a risk-based approach to assess human rights and decent work compliance.
Collaboration with and follow-up of suppliers
Human rights and working conditions are anchored in Fredensborg Hospitality's governing documents. We set clear requirements for our suppliers and require them to sign and comply with our requirements for partners.
Public reporting and information
In line with the Transparency Act, Fredensborg Hospitality annually publishes an account of our due diligence, the first time by June 30, 2023. The Transparency Act for Fredensborg Hospitality and our businesses can be read here.
