WRIGHT INVITATIONAL 2026
On Saturday, July 4, 2026, we once again welcome you to the Wright Invitational at Kragerø Resort & Kragerø Golf!
Doors open 09:00 – Tournament starts 11:00
Norway's coolest golf tournament at Europe's best golf hotel, you definitely don't want to miss this. Fantastic golf, great atmosphere, lots of surprises and much more at Norway's most beautiful archipelago.
Kevin Wright is the initiator of the tournament. The golf pro with the NM title, now living in the USA, has a great commitment to organ donation. He was born with a serious heart defect, and will one day need a new heart. Wright's great wish is to get more people to say yes, and to create an unforgettable day on the golf course. We hope many will make the trip to see the tournament and support the Organ Donation Foundation.
Our own Viktor Hovland, winner of the FedEx Cup, Ryder Cup, Travelers Championship and much more, is coming. He will compete in a strong field including Kjartan Lauritzen, Mats Zuccarello, Henrik Viken, Birk Ruud, Andreas Halvorsen, Bård Ylvisåker, Amalie Snøløs, Rasmus Wold, Gucci Gaute, John Carew and many more.
Spectator tickets are on sale. Children under 12 years old get in for free, but must also be wristbanded at the main entrance so that we have an overview of the number of spectators.
GENERALLY
We encourage everyone to use the main entrance on the road up to the clubhouse where ribbons are distributed and entry to the area is. There will also be an entrance by the path that comes from the parking lot at Levhangsheia Idrettsanlegg / Gåsmyr Stadium. Follow the instructions from the crew and volunteers who are on the area and think about safety around the golf course.
Please come together so that we can scan all tickets. Please bring a folding chair or seating mat.
BOOKING YOUR STAY
We have fully booked hotels in connection with the tournament, but there may be alternatives in Kragerø.
PARKING INFORMATION
Unfortunately, it will not be possible to park in and around Kragerø Resort or Kragerø Golf on this day due to low capacity and it is important that access is good for emergency vehicles. We have planned 2 alternative parking lots: Stilnestangen and Levangsheia Idrettsanleg (Gåsmyr Stadium). We recommend spectators to use the parking facilities in the city center and the ferry service as we expect a lot of traffic and few available parking spaces in the area below the hotel on this day.
It will be possible to park at Stilnestangen in Kragerø city center for visitors to the Wright Invitational. It is approx. 9 minutes walking distance from the Kragerø ferry terminal which has several daily departures to Stabbestad. Check www.fjordbat.no for current departure times and prices. The address of the parking lot is Gamle Kragerøvei 14, 3770 Kragerø and parking is subject to Onepark's current rates.
It is also possible to park at Levangsheia Idrettsanlegg / Gåsmyr Stadion nearby. The address is Heibøveien 6, 3788 Stabbestad. Here you can walk through the forest to the track – takes approx. 25 minutes.
We expect a lot of traffic this day, so we encourage those who have the opportunity to use public transportation such as a ferry or bus, those who use a car to drive together, and those who can be dropped off by boat.
FERRY FROM KRAGERØ TO STABBESTAD
Farte Ferge is also setting up extra ferries on this day, so departures from Kragerø city center to Stabbestad are at 09:05, 10:00 and 12:00. Return from Stabbestad to Kragerø city center are at 15:55, 17:00, 18:20 and 19:20.
It is also possible to book a taxi boat to Beach Club Kragerø.
